Fixicab - Fixed Taxi Fares In Dublin
Fixicab is the latest cab / taxi company based in Swords Dublin. Fixicab was set up be Cab 2000 in the Swords, Malahide, Portmarnock, Lusk, Rush, Donabate and Skerries areas to offer passengers a fixed fare system in place
of using the taxi meter. This service is now extended to cover most of Dublin City and County. Swords Taxi
Prices are subject to change and are from A to B.

If you decide on taking a taxi and agree the fixed fare remember that the taxi meter will still be used and switched
on. This is the law even if the fare is agreed before the journey starts the driver will still use the meter. This rule is
by the taxi regulator. If you require a receipt for the journey taken the driver will give you a printed receipt with and
deductions written down on the printed receipt.
The fixed fare is from the pick up point to you're destination, if you decide to go on a detour to pick up another passenger
are drop someone off then additional charges may apply.
Hiring A Taxi - When hiring a taxi it's always best to use a local taxi / cab company as they would know the local area
better than a freelance driver would. Also if you use the local service and are unlucky enough to leave something behind in
the taxi there's a better chance of getting it back. If you loose a phone or wallet in the car the driver will normally hold
onto it and wait for you to ring the phone, or the driver will search the phone for a home number so it can be returned.
