A Little Bit Of History. Before this
centre was built there were a number of shopping units that were more like warehouses than shops. Des Kelly Carpets were located
here before their purpose built shop was built down in North Street. During the 1960's and 70's the area was used as a show
room for Paddy Pentony Farm Machinery. Paddy had his manufacturing facility on Bridge Street where The Castle Shopping Centre
now stands.
