African Skies Lyrics And Chords By Ron Rackley. seeing their plight on TV every night saddened me and inspired me to write about it, Ron has wrote many fine songs, here's another one about Christopher Columbus Columbus 1492

[C] Under African skies [F] Africa [G7] cries for the World to [C] know do you not see their plight on your[F] TV every [G7] night, this is a real reality [C]show.
[C] when will the[G7]World stop looking [C] away while mothers and [G7]babies wont make another [C] day, when will we [F]see that we’re all [C] family,no one [G7] help them, except you and [C] me.

[C]Under African skies [F] Africa [G7] cries for the World to
[C] know do you not see their plight on your [F] TV every [G7] Night, this is a real reality [C] show.
[C] Maybe [G7] tomorrow the pain goes [C] away, maybe [G7] tomorrow will be a better
[C] day, maybe the [F] World will hear the [C] call of the hungry the [G7] starving the dying and [C] all.
While mother’s of [F] children must look [C] away, from the pitiful [G7] sight of them fading [C] away.

[C] Under African skies [F] Africa  [G7]cries for the World to [C] know do you not see their plight on you’re [F] TV every[G7] night, this is a real reality [C] show.
[C] As each night turns to [G7] morning and a new day [C] begins, let us think of the[G7] babies who die without [C] sins,no food in their [F] bellies just tears in their [C] eyes, look down on the [G7] sadness under African [C] skies.

[C] Under African skies [F] Africa [G7] cries for the World to [C] know,do you not see their plight on you’re [F] TV  every [G7] night, this is a real reality [C] show, this is a [G7] real reality [C] show.
