Big Bank Job The Irish Brigade Lyrics And guitar Chords-Rebel song
This song is all about the biggest bank robbery in history anywhere in the U.K or Ireland which netted the gang £26.5 million. It happened at the Northern bank Belfast December 2004. The strange thing about this robbery is that it was too successful, the thieves took way too much money and  the Northern bank withdrew all bank notes out of circulation and issued new notes, hence the money stolen was worthless. Anway the song was written by Gerry O'Glacain from The Irish Brigade. The tune used for the song is ''Is This The Way To Amarillo''
[A]Sha la lala lala[D]la, oh ah
Ever[A]body blamed the [D]ra
Sha la lala lala[A]la
It's not true 'cause [D]it was [A]me

[A]All the guards were [D]yawning
Northern [A]Bank on that [E]Belfast Morning
I [A]told the lads to [D]be there
With a [A]white van [E]waiting for me there
[F]Just pull off the [C]highway
[F]Open up the [C]door
[F]Fill the van with [C]millions
In [E]bin bags by the score
[A]You can call me [D]Pancho Villa
I [A]have millions [E]stuffed in my pillow
I'm[A] on the run to [D]Amarillo
[A]With [E]millions [A]waiting there for me

[A]Sha la lala lala[D]la, oh ah
Ever[A]body blamed the [D]ra
Sha la lala lala[A]la
It's not true 'cause [D]it was [A]me
They tried to blame the Shinners
We all know they are saints not sinners
It couldn't have been the provos
The whole world knows they are on a 'go slow'
Police are so frustrated
They don't know what to say
Who else could have done it
If its not the IRA
You can call me Pancho Villa
I have millions stuffed in my pillow
I'm on the run to Amarillo
With millions waiting there for me

[A]Sha la lala lala[D]la, oh ah
Ever[A]body blamed the [D]ra
Sha la lala lala[A]la
It's not true 'cause [D]it was [A]me
