Ar Eireann Ni Neosainn Ce hl Tin Whistle Sheet Music Notes and banjo / mandolin tab. Recorded by Liam Clancy, The High Kings to name a few. The origins of the song are in Co. Kerry as far as I can make out from my contacts. A few years ago I got talking to Brian Warfield of The Wolfe Tones who recorded a slightly different version of this tune. I asked him where he got the song from and he said a Kerry man gave it to him. He said it was written in Gaelige when he got it but translated into English himself and called it ''For Ireland I'll Not Tell Her Name. As I said the 'tones version of the tune is a bit different than this one. What I do know is that we'll probably never find out who wrote it.
