The Irish and the Chinese we the people who laid down America's railroads. The Irish worked from the Eastern States to The
Rockies. On the roll of work could be found such names a O'Sullivan, O'Riley, O'Casey a O'Rourke as well as many of well-known
Irish names among them.The Irish came in droves to seek their fortunes and to make a home for themselves and their descendenants
in their new found land. The situations our people found the selves in various countries of world produced new folk songs
as time progressed. It was only natural that eventually songs about railways would be written and so it was that the song
