Thank You For The Days Days Lyrics Guitar Chords, Luke Kelly version, written by Ray Davies.
I have set this one in the key of A Major, there is a key change for the chorus, it goes to key of C Major, This song was also recorded by Kirsty MacColl who as you all know was the daughter of the famous Ewan MacColl, Kirsty  as far as I remember sang this in the same key thats here.

[A]Thank you for the days,
Those[D] endless[A] days, those[D] sacred[A] days you [E]gave[A] me.
[A]I'm thinking of the days,,,,[E]
I [A]won't for[D]get a[A] single day, be[E]lieve[A] me.
I [A]bless the [D]light,
I [A]bless the [D]light that [A]shines on you be[E]lieve [A]me.
And [D]though you're [A]gone,
You're [D]with me [A]every [D]single[A] day, be[E]lieve [A]me.

[F]Days I'll re[C]member all my [G]life,
[F]Days when you [C]can't see wrong from[G] right.
You [F]took my [C]life,
But [F]then I [C]knew that [F]very [C]soon you'd [G]leave [C]me,
But[F] it's all [C]right,
Now [F]I'm not [C]frightened [F]of this [C]world, be[G]lieve[C] me.
I wish to[E]day could be to[Am]morrow,
The night is[E] dark,
It just brings [Am]sorrow, let it[F] wait.

Thank you for the days,
Those endless days, those sacred days you gave me.
I'm thinking of the days,
I won't forget a single day, believe me.
Days I'll remember all my life,
Days when you can't see wrong from right.
You took my life,
But then I knew that very soon you'd leave me,
But it's all right,
Now I'm not frightened of this world, believe me.
Days.

Thank you for the days,
Those endless days, those sacred days you gave me.
I'm thinking of the days,
I won't forget a single day, believe me.
I bless the light,
I bless the light that shines on you believe me.
And though you're gone,
You're with me every single day, believe me.
Days.
