Reasons To Leave Guitar Chords And Song Lyrics. Written and recorded by Kieran Goss. Kieran plays this on in the key of key is F# major. It appers from the video that he's playing a little three chord job using standard tuning but that's not so. His guitar is not tuned E B G D A E. The truth is I don't know what way he has that guitar tuned. The chords which were worked out by Marc will get you through but it's not perfect, still God loves a tryer. If any of you guitar geniuses out there have a better version, by all means send it to me.To play along
with Kieran Goss use a capo on the 4th fret

Intro: D-A-G-A 4x

[A]Ireland's a [D]dream -A
Of [G]hope for what the [A]day will bring –G-A
The land and the [D]sea -A

All that I [D]am -A
Is [G]telling me I should not [A]go –G-A
And all that I [D]know -A
Is they're [G]telling [A]me I [D]must –G-A

[A]Reasons to [D]leave –A-G
Are [A]money and [D]finding better [G]work -A
Reasons to [D]stay –A-G
Are [A]music and [D]love –G-D
[A]Reasons to [D]leave –A-G
Are [A]fortune and [D]fame for what it's [G]worth -A
The reason to [D]stay –A-G
Is [A]heaven on [D]earth –G-D

My brothers are ten
And sisters I have five
Four to one bed
Is room enough to grow
All that we are
Is all that I have ever known
And all that I have
Will be here when I'm gone

Repeat Chorus

Hi Martin, Was just looking for the chords for Reasons to Leave by Kieran Goss and came across this site... really cool. I think that I may be able to help... he is playing in first position in standard tuning, but is tuned down a semi-tone... So he is playing around G shapes but effectively it is G flat. It really gives the whole thing a beautiful rich sound. Hope this helps cheers Scott.
Thanks Goes to Scott Harrow for this, well done, Martin.
