Wonderful Tonight Tin Whistle Notes. A pop song by Eric Clapton. The first two D notes at the start
of line one and two are low Ds. All the rest are high. I'm playing this on a D Susato tin whistle. This song was a request
for a regular visitor to the site which took me about 20 minutes to learn off. I was aware of the song so the tune itself
was handy to pick up. It's seldom you get a nice melodic piece of music in a pop song that suits the tin whistle. Much of
the pop tunes you'll be playing a single note a rake of times which sounds very boring played on a lead instrument. When I
go looking for a pop melody to play I like one's which have a good variety of notes along the scale. Examples of this would
be
Annie's Song by John Denver.
